Tagalog Translations project at drupal.org
Mga kababayan!
I just did the initial commit (#175078) of the Tagalog translation files last night, 3:33 CET (UTC+0100), to Drupal CVS. Our own localization server for the project is located at http://pili.pin.as/translations.
For more information on our project page, localization server, etc., please read the comments below.
Maraming salamat po!
John
EDIT (2009-03-02 23:52:33 +0100): The Tagalog project has been discontinued. Please see the Filipino Translation Project at drupal.org for more information in English. For more information in Filipino, please go to our localization server.

Wondering about the Tagalog project page?
The project page will be at
http://drupal.org/project/tlbut there is presently a problem in creating the project node. See this issue for more details. Until it's been fixed, the Tagalog Translation project is not listed at http://drupal.org/project/translations (yet!)Localization Server status
Our localization server (http://pili.pin.as/translations) is presently being set-up. The registration is still disabled while I finish up checking that everything are working as they should. I expect that the registration will be open tomorrow, Feb 25, just in time for the 23nd anniversary of the 1986 People Power :-) kaya mag-people power na tayo sa pagta-translate!
If you wish to translate right away (dahil kating-kati ka na!), you can check-out the dev files from the CVS. You can then import it to the localization server when it's up and running. Also, anonymous users can submit their translation suggestions already in the server.
Ps. I took the liberty of grabbing drupinoy as the logo of the localization server assuming that it's GPL since it's a derivative work of the druplicon. Thanks.

This is kewl! Keep up the good work man.
What else is there to finish?
what else is there...
Thanks.
So...get some sleep and when you wake up tomorrow, it's ready. Alas dos na dyan ha :-)
John
Domain
Hahaha. I was whois-ing where that domain came from earlier. Bago lang pala.
It is nice of you to purchase such unique domain name.
I'll stick around. And don't worry, I don't sleep as part of abstinence/fasting during Lent.
pili.pin.as
the domain pin.as isn't that new, purchased it a few months back. it was originally pointed to the server I use for my clients so I had to change it to the server where I have my hobby projects.
No sleep during Lent? Di ka matutulog for 46 days?! :-)
40 days, 40 nights
Not really. I'm just going to minimize my visit to Dreamland so that I can focus in strengthening my Drupal development skills in the next few months.
Google Summer of Code is also in season, plus there are lots to do in terms of promoting Drupal here in the Philippines this summer vacation. I have to travel to different islands to help market Drupal in different cities. It's part of the giving/sharing process. Human beings are capable of being sane without sleep anyway.
Registration is now open!
Hey pipol! You can now create an account and start translating :-)
subscribing
Galing!
Almost 10% translated after the first day! Keep up the good work people! :-)
