In December, we shared information about the sessions selected for Drupalcon Denver, must-have and favorite modules, hosting alternatives and more. Of special note, a number of us learned about the Drupal Entity Cache module - http://drupal.org/project/entitycache - for Drupal 7. Thanks, Adrian!
Agenda. January's meeting will packed with great technical information.
We will start out with a startup topic from the folks attending the meeting. Even if you're brand new to Drupal, we'll be able to get you up and running quickly.
Caleb Thorne will talk about Drupal 7 Simpletest, exploring techniques for using Drupal 7's simpletest:
- What kind of test can and can't be automated?
- Assertions
- Implementing DrupalWebTestCase()
- Running tests via the gui
- Running tests via drush
Bryan Jones is taking this opportunity to learn node.js and he will report on his progress and how we might be able to use node.js easily in our sites now.
Location. Like December, we'll be in Conference Room II at the East Library. Be aware that we cannot get any library rooms in February, so if you'd like to volunteer a venue for February, please step forward.
Timing. We'll start around 6:30 pm with introductions. Please eat beforehand. In December, a bunch of us got together and ate at Buffalo Wild Wings on North Academy (7425 North Academy) from 5 pm to 6:15. Feel free to join us. The library kicks us out at 9 pm, so the meeting will be done by then.

I can't take credit for telling people about entitycache, forget who that was, but I've started using it!
Sounds
Sounds like a good one -- wish I had made it. Hopefully January.
