The Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a cause-directed, self-motivated Web Developer to work in a fast-paced, creative, deadline-oriented environment. The candidate must have extensive experience in Drupal development. Must have the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Web users, including staff, parents and community members. This position will be responsible for the development of dynamic websites that achieve the district’s strategic communications priorities. Candidates must have strong technical abilities and the ability to learn quickly. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required. Salary range: $59,402 - $80,368. Responsibilities
SUMMARY: The Web Developer has overall responsibility for developing and managing the district’s Drupal-based Internet and Intranet sites, and content-managed school sites to increase traffic, promote services and foster an environment of two-way communication in support of the communications strategies of the Five Star District for both internal and external audiences. The Web Developer trains various department and school-based content editors who are responsible for keeping their respective areas of these Web sites updated. The Web Developer establishes and provides oversight of Web standards to maintain a consistent “look and feel” across all district and school content-managed sites. Based on research and evaluation, the Web Developer makes adjustments and enhancements to existing content-managed sites in support of the district and schools’ communication goals and objectives.
