Web Developer with Drupal Skills
1185 Design, an award-winning Graphic Design Agency in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a Web Developer. The candidate will be an integral part of a team of programmers in a growing and evolving Multimedia Department. A successful candidate is one who thrives under pressure and works effectively in a fast paced design firm, has disciplined experience in the internet industry, preferably with agency experience; and the ability to simultaneously prioritize multiple projects including client expectations and schedules.

Requirements:

* Expertise in PHP, Drupal, SQL, JavaScript, Flash Actionscript, XML, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Content Management Systems and Database design as well as the ability to troubleshoot and debug your own and/or team code while ensuring integrity and quality of all deliverables
* An understanding of various backend technologies (AMP)
* Experience developing an entire custom Drupal website from start to finish
* Knowledge of web standards and implementation of SEO and usability principles
* A strong understanding of design tools. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Flash), as well as Micosoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
* Strong organizational and management, time management skills and attention to detail a must
* Ability to envision creative ways to leverage online ideas and technologies.
* Proven commitment and follow-through on projects.
* Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast paced environment.
* Video, Animation, and 3D skills are a plus.
* Excellent communication skills.
