Wide Eye Creative LLC is seeking a creative, talented Front-End developer to join its team in either a full-time or part-time capacity. As a Front-End developer, you will be working on an array of interesting, highly creative projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a start-up-like atmosphere; be eager to learn, to collaborate creatively, to take risks; and, generally, to embrace the opportunity of being on the ground floor of a small, growing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write cross-browser compatible front-end code in PHP, Javascript, XHTML, and CSS
- Build themes on major CMS platforms (particularly WordPress and Drupal)
- Create mobile-compatible interfaces
- Operate with an array of CRM toolsets (Salsa, NGP, Salesforce) and APIs (Facebook, Twitter, MailChimp)
- Perform graphics work in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Maintain client hosting accounts with WHM and CPanel
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of PHP, Javascript, XHTML and CSS
- Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of Drupal and WordPress
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility and browser degradation strategies
- Experience with at least one Ajax/Javascript framework such as jQuery, YUI, Google Closure Library, Dojo
- Experience with Adobe graphics software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Disciplined approach to testing and quality engineering
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passion and pride in your work
RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS:
- Creative design skills
- Experience with wireframeing software (Balsamiq, Omnigraffle)
- Knowledge of HTML5 and/or Flash/ActionScript
- Social media nerdiness
