Performs administrative, design and development, maintenance and other technical duties in support of various University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering websites and servers. Will assist the Director in maintaining efficient operation of both static and dynamic websites for the College.
Job Duties:

Develops and implements applications, database interfaces and services for the website, using programming languages such as Perl, CGI, HTML ,HTML5, Java, XML, PHP or Apache.

Assists with the management of the College web servers, including testing and upgrades, administration and file system management.

Creates and maintains web analysis tools or other web services.

Coordinates with department contacts and updates information on the website to ensure that the College is well represented.

Researches and evaluates new techniques and software for use on the website.

Coordinates assigned projects with other web staff assigned to the projects.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requires a 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
Knowledge of HTML/XML, Javascript, PHP5, Dreamweaver, Drupal versions 6 and 7, Fireworks Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator essential. Working knowledge of Apache, Linux, MySQL and SFTP highly desireable.
Hiring Range: 3,768.27 - 4,900.13 monthly
