Drupal Programmer / Analyst | EDUCAUSE

EDUCAUSE is seeking qualified candidates for a Programmer/Analyst position. Candidates will be part of a fun, creative team that is responsible for redesigning, developing and maintaining the EDUCAUSE web presence.

EDUCAUSE is currently located in east Boulder, CO and will be moving to Louisville, CO on 3/1/2012. Relocation assistance may be available. Remote/telecommuting may be possible depending on experience level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience with Drupal, including theming and module development
Experience with MySQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
Experience with version control management systems such as git or Subversion
Experience performance-tuning large, web-based applications
Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) and analytics
Experience creating and consuming web services with REST and/or SOAP
Strong understanding and appreciation of emerging trends in web technology (e.g., responsive design, web standards, usability, and accessibility)
Contribute to or maintain Drupal or a related module/theme (please include a link to your Drupal profile page)

Required Education and Experience:

Expert knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery
Expertise using standards-compliant XHTML and CSS
Experience with database design, MySQL/SQL construction and optimization
Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
