I'm looking for one or more developers to work on a large scale site for a major Scottish retailer. We're currently at the initial stages of a new build development on Drupal 7 with Drupal Commerce.

This will involve development of new modules as well work on existing contrib modules. You would be working directly for the client rather than subcontracting. You'd be working remotely, though you would occasionally be required to travel to either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Hours can be either part time or full time.

You should already be an experienced Drupal developer, familiar with PHP and MySQL, and the basic Drupal systems such as Form API, commonly used hooks, and so on. If you can also work on the theming side that would be a bonus.

In addition, having some of the following would be desirable but not essential:

  • Familiarity with the Drupal contrib module development process and Drupal coding standards.
  • Familiarity with git.
  • Experience with Drupal Commerce, prior Drupal e-commerce modules (eg Ubercart), or e-commerce on other platforms.
  • Experience with customizing and extending Views.
  • Experience with Services.
  • Experience with Domain Access.

Start date is ASAP and duration is likely to be several months.
