I'd like to welcome Barb Baranski as our newest TriDUG coordinator.
After Allen stepping down due to time constraints and the very loud and clear "We want more lunch meetings" message from the successful Lunch with DesignHammer meetup, it is clear that we need more coordinators to help support this as an addition to our current evening meetups.
So, I asked Barb if she was interested... after contemplating it a bit, she has agreed.
For those who don't know her, she was one of the regular "hosts" when we were meeting at Hesketh in Raleigh and has (co)presented at several meetings of the years. She has a lot of Drupal background and knowledge and since leaving Hesketh, sees TriDUG as a great way to get a Drupal fix. (My words not hers...lol)
We're still talking about how continue to "do lunch" together... but Barb already has a lead on a Raleigh location.
That said, if anyone else want to help out as a coordinator please just ask any of the current coordinators.
Alternatively, if anyone doesn't want to sign up as an "official" coordinator, but has a topic or experimental type of meetup they want to lead, feel free to follow DesignHammer's lead and suggest a time, venue, and presentation. We can help get it advertised and help in other ways.
Finally, as always, we're always looking for folks to present. You don't need to be the "absolute" expert on something... just willing to share with others. Site "case studies" like Paul T and Jason H have done are very popular and easy!
