Drupal developer for ongoing project work | Red Beret Design

Employment type:
Part time
Employment type:
Contract
Telecommute:
Not allowed

PLEASE NOTE: I edited this post to say telecommute not allowed because I was inundated with replies from overseas. Although most work can be done remotely, I am interested in collaborating with local developers who are available to attend meetings face-to-face. I already have several remote developers to work with. If you don't live in the Triangle, I will keep your information on file but will probably not contact you. If you do not reside in the United States, I will delete your reply.

I am a designer who has recently begun designing sites in both drupal and wordpress. I am looking for a developer that I can collaborate with on various projects. Work may involve both small projects and fixes as well as partnering on site development.

The types of work I foresee are, from smallest to largest, are:

-Handling system and database administration, e.g. installing and upgrading modules, backups, hosting issues
-Configuring some of the more complex modules, e.g. views
-theme development
-module development
-collaborating on site design, architecture and functionality
-collaborating on preparing proposals and pitching clients

I prefer to work with someone who:

-is independent or works on a small team of developers
-is not moonlighting from a full-time job
-is not looking for a full-time job: I'd like this to be a long-term collaboration
-works at your own location, but
LOCAL to the Triangle and available for occasional face-to-face meetings

If you are also familiar with wordpress, that's a plus.
