We are seeking an experienced PHP/Drupal/PostgreSQL contractor to develop and work with Drupal Modules to meet our business requirements.
Responsibilities include:
1. Contributing to and ensuring of the stability and functionality of a comprehensive Drupal 7.x deployment.
2. Developing custom Drupal Module(s) based PostgreSQL databases working from functional requirements and Graphics designs.
3. Working with existing team members integrating a Drupal CMS, Ubuntu OS, PostgreSQL ORDBMS, and PHP environment.
4. Integrating Drupal/PHP based content pages with third party integration such as Facebook Connect, Flash, Google Maps API, YouTube API, Bing Maps API, etc.
5. Creation of install scripts.
6. Maintaining impeccable development records.
Required Skills:
1. Demonstrated development experience working with the architecture and design for Drupal 7.x and PHP 5.x.
2. Proficient development skills and extensive experience in PostgreSQL (8.x & 9.x) and MySQL 5.x
3. Thorough understanding of Application Server (Apache Web) technical architecture.
4. Proficient development skills and extensive experience in a Linux environment (Ubuntu preferred)
5. Expertise in developing and deploying Web components for Drupal.
6. Demonstrated expertise in developing custom modules for Drupal.
7. Broad Web development skills: HTML5; CSS, JavaScript; XML/XSLT; XHTML; DHTML; Web 2.0
8. Expertise with shell scripting and PgSQL/Apache configuration.
9. Experience working with Project Management & Version Control (Redmine & Git preferred)
10. Experience with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) programming.
11. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
13. Strong commenting & documentation of code.
14. The ability to work with and integrate applications within dynamic and changing business requirements.
