Large Community sites and How Panels works are the two topics this month.

Drupal has prove that it can run even the largest sites out there. The team over at www.greenappleventures.com has deployed some of their largest community sites using Drupal.

This month our showcase site is http://community.mylifetime.com/ which is a huge high traffic community site running Drupal.

Listen to the people behind this site talk about why they used Drupal and how they built this site.

Panels3 Harness the Power of Chaos - Matt Chaney from Chapter Three will come down and give us the low down on Panels and how to make sense of them. Matt is a panels expert who can shed the light for all of us. Anyone who was at the symantec web meeting last week will want to come to this presentation, as it will cover the details on panels.

Please come on down and join us for an evening of Drupal fun.

How Late Will This Meeting Last?

james_sf - Wed, 2009-05-06 22:27

I look forward to attending my first Drupal user group meeting, but I'll be busy until around 7:30 or so. How late do you expect this meeting to run?

Thanks, James

Usually a couple of hours

Hi Kieran,

Just curious, are you going to both the Bay area dug meeting as well as coming to campus to talk?
Regardless, can't wait to have a lively discussion on campus involvement in Drupal.

Cheers,

kevin
