We are looking for a creative, quick web developer to work for a major media company. Drupal experience an advantage. Here's what you'll be working on:
1) Day-to-day maintenance of server infrastructure and monitoring of application and database load.
- work with host to implement critical OS or software patches
2) Maintenance of code base, insuring integrity of back-end and front-end application across development and production environment, including resolution of application bugs.
- setup a SVN repository, a web-based issue/bug tracker system, a staging and a development server.
3) Development of additional functionality that may include:
a) extending and/or integrating open-source or third party application software to enhance application functionality per business and functional requirements
b) development of distributable applications (widgets) that may be downloaded by end-users and embedded within third-party web environments
c) set up/configuration of stand-alone open source or third-party web applications to service business needs
d) design services with the above and including other design services including online advertising creative
- test all deliverables on the staging server and deployed to production server after our approval
