Next meetup

I'd love to hear more about photo galleries. This is something I've been playing with a lot as I'm building one for Island.byu.edu + some other personal sites.

I've been playing around with thickbox, imagecache, imagefield etc. and am still working on my own image gallery, but a group meeting/discussion would be great. :)

I'm down for a discussion about image galleries. What are your ideas for a private content discussion? When would this meeting be? We missed this month so maybe we should shoot for the first week of June or something. Any ideas?

I dont have a place to do a meeting or I would offer it. Anytime that first week of june is good, usually towards the evenings are best.

Both topics are great ones to cover, and your site is perfect to learn/teach on.
I would enjoy learning what other people did with displaying a imagegallery (setting a view for it) and creating albums/galleries.

I love Imagecache and Thickbox, etc. - love that there are so many different ways to image galleries.

So, I only joined this group a short time ago and have never gotten together with all of you (and it could still be pretty challenging for a while) - but I was wondering where you usually meet? Is the location different every time? Is it ever near Cottonwood Heights?

We meet in different places. We have people from up near Layton and people from Provo so it really depends. Last time we met downtown in Salt Lake and before that we were meeting down in American Fork.

I would be happy to offer our offices again but I am going out of town today and won't be back until June 7th so you would have to push the meeting. I think we had talked about maybe moving the meeting further south this time anyways, but if everyone would prefer to meet in Salt Lake again then I could see if my colleague is free (he's also a Drupal developer and has been at some of the meetings with me). Whatever works for me (cause I won't be here :).

I'm planning on coming to the next meeting, whenever it is. I previously lived in Logan and just moved down to South Jordan, so now I'll be able to participate a lot more. :)

There's been a long pause in the group regarding our next meet-up. What's the word on this? When and where? Should Chuck and I just plan it and give everyone the details?

I think in future meetings we need to assign someone responsibility for organizing the next meeting. This responsibility could span a number of months. That'd be much better than our current wait-for-someone-to-step-forward system.
