Contract-to-Hire Full Time Drupal Developer | Florida Hospital

Florida Hospital is seeking one contract-to-hire Drupal / PHP guru to work on some exciting new web projects. Florida Hospital is one of the nation's largest hospitals, treating more than 1,000,000 patients annually. Even though we're a large organization, our award winning web team has a creative "agency" type vibe.

The right candidate will bring these qualities & abilities to the team:

• Experience with Drupal Framework
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, XML, Ajax, D/X/HTML, CSS, web standards, and developing RIAs
• Understanding of application development platforms including JBOSS
• Working knowledge of XML
• Proficiency in MySQL and has the ability to write SQL database queries
• High level of understanding of relational databases
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of object hardware and related infrastructure

The right candidate will ideally possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in web development-related field or 4 years previous experience in web development

Other job responsibilities:

• Prepare written technical specifications that include time estimates and required technology for assigned development projects, with input from an experienced team member and/or manager.
• Communicate with project managers, co-workers, customers and supervisors, maintaining awareness of project status and any potential delay, situation or concern that may affect the outcome of the projects.
• Adhere to coding standards defined by technical management
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implements fixes in a rapid manner
• Establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans
