Drupal Programmer/Project Manager | Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre
The CFMDC is currently seeking a Project Manager to migrate our website and database system to a Drupal CMS.
The Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre is dedicated to securing the availability and promoting the visibility of independent film works that operate outside of the mainstream. Since 1967, the CFMDC has been a critical source for programmers, institutions, festivals and museums around the world. With over 2750 works in distribution, the CFMDC remains committed to its role as an advocate for the dissemination of independent visions.
Qualifications:
Drupal - must have proven experience installing, configuring and supporting Drupal CMS, including customizing modules and creating new ones.
2+ years demonstrated development experience with hands-on coding in advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript
2+ years experience with PHP relational databases, Drupal 6 . MySQL, CSS, HTML, XTML, AJax, Flash.
Proficiency with cross-browser / cross-platform issues and web standards
Sensitivity to graphic design
Fluent in speaking and writing English
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a co-operative environment committed to equity and non-discrimination
Responsibilities include:
Developing a Drupal CMS solution to fit the needs of the CFMDC, our client base and our member base.
Migrating our database system from FileMaker Pro to MySQL interface with the website and office systems
Staff training
This is a contract position. Compensation D.O.E.
