Hi,

Is there anybody to explain how to develop local intranet Messenger website using Drupal or framework like elgg.

And explain how to separate drupal generated website.

Just use already existing functionality for private messaging: http://drupal.org/project/privatemsg

No need to reinvent the wheel.

Is there an issue in the queue for extending privatemsg to make it more chat-like, functionally...?

I expect that will be greatly moved forward with the use of views, which I understand won't happen until 6-2.0 ...

I do not believe i've created an issue about it. However it is planned, if only just in my mind :-p. After seeing google wave presentation i feel more inspired to make this. Any volunteers for patches?
