DrupalCon Munich needs a Learn Drupal Session

techgirlgeek's picture

Hi -

IMO this is one of the biggest buzzes in the Drupal Community right now. I'd like to see the momentum continue, perhaps by trying to include another Learn Drupal session at DrupalCon Munich. As the global track chair for the Community Track, I personally would like to see exciting and engaging sessions in the Community Track, but I need the community's help. :)

If anyone (or a group of people) are planning on attending DrupalCon and are interested in giving this session, please submit your session proposal at http://munich2012.drupal.org/call-for-papers.

Call for papers ends May 11th!

Thanks,
Karyn

I'm certainly willing to help on a session for this as I'm definitely going to be there. Not sure who else is going to Munich but we could get a couple of people together to do the session? It would be good for us to sort out who is proposing the session, so that we don't end up with multiple submissions to muddy the waters.

I should also mention that I'm proposing a session on the overall community education picture. I just went ahead and submitted that. Feedback on that is welcome. http://munich2012.drupal.org/program/sessions/state-drupal-community-edu...

Looks like a great session

Looks like a great session idea! It will be a great resource to refer people to when they want to get involved in training/outreach. I hope it gets picked!

If we get accepted, I'd love to collaborate with some people willing to share case studies (especially success stories) from their user groups. I'm also really hoping to include (1) some people from non-US and non-English speaking user groups in this presentation and (2) specific contribution success stories. Please contact me if have a case study you're interested in sharing.
