Philly DrupalCamp Planning
Hi all,
It's been a busy spring, but we're closing in on some plans for a Philly DrupalCamp.
We're looking at two possible locations at Penn, and tentatively looking at July 24 or 31 -- both Fridays.
First of all, does that work for everyone? Sound like a reasonable venue and timeframe? There's a lot of interest around Drupal at Penn, so their participation as a venue will bring lots of folks into the mix, as well as keeping overall costs down.
Secondly, it would be great to get together, like we did last fall, to start brainstorming around agenda, speakers, outreach, and remaining logistics. We were thinking to meet up at the Cosi near Penn at 36th and Walnut - they have some decent space upstairs. And next week, tuesday 6/9 or thursday 6/11 are possibilities.
If you're interested in participating in the planning, please comment here and indicate if you could make 6/9, 6/11, both, or neither. Was thinking 6:30 or so.
If you're interested in participating but can't attend that meeting, please don't worry -- we intend to do as much online as possible, but a face-to-face meeting helps to get the ball rolling.

Don't know how much help I can be, but I'd like to extend my services to help in any way, either date works for meeting. I'm out of town on the 24th so I'd vote for the 31st as well.
I should be able to make it
I should be able to make it to the planning meeting on Tuesday the 9th. As of now, either the 24th or the 31st work for me, however we're still making vacation plans so that could change.
I can't make the meetings
on the 9th or 11th, I'll be out of town. The venue is great.
I prefer 31st for the camp. I'll be out of town on the 24th.

I'm not 100% sure about those dates (much of Zivtech may be out of town at a code sprint on the 11th), but if I'm around, I'm down.

I won't be able to make
I won't be able to make either of the planning meetings but I'll participate online as much as I can (not sure how I can help but willing to find out). Excited about attending DrupalCamp. Either Friday works great for me since I tend to be free on Fridays, and the venue is perfect, easily accessible.
Would this be an all-day event? Never attended a Drupalcamp before.

I was really expecting to have solid information on date/location/costs, which would enable the next round of discussion on outreach, sponsorship, and logistics -- but -- we hit a snag with location again, and I don't have those figures with sufficient confidence yet.
How does Tuesday the 16th work for people?
