We're looking for an experienced Drupal Developer

We're after an experienced Drupal developer to join our growing team - you'll be assisting in pretty much every technical aspect of web development. This is an opportunity for you to find a job where you can excel at the things you do best - we'll let you get on with the things you're good at and enjoy doing.

We develop unusually graphical websites so experience in theming would defo be an advantage, but we're flexible so if you're great then let us know why!

Outline

We're looking for someone with lots of talent, this certainly won't be your first job within web development - and you'll bring your skills and experience with you to help us do things better.

You'll obviously be no stranger to web technologies, which means you'll need to be tackle some occasionally tough problems and be adept at finding solutions to them. You'll be working with a small but growing development team, so you'll have support when you need it and people to bounce your ideas off.

We're committed to developing within Drupal - a great open-source CMS which we think delivers superior websites. Don't worry - this job isn't just churning out dull website after dull website - we're genuinely interested in pushing boundaries and innovating along the way, and of course - the sites will never look boring.

We work within a very friendly and stimulating environment so you'll need to be able to get down to work when required, ensure your work meets our exacting quality standards and of course ensure a certain level of attention to detail. We simply want someone who will be a positive addition to our team, and what a team it will be with you in it.

Key skills // requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience with HTML, CSS, relevant LAMP technologies and PHP/MYSQL driven CMS
  • At least two years commercial experience
  • Understanding and interest in a wide-range of web technologies
  • Experience of working towards accessibility standards
  • Lots of attention to detail
  • Project management skills, version control and ability to work to occasionally tight deadlines
  • Problem solving skills
  • Experience in crafting effective sites

Highly desirable

  • Experience of extracting designs from Photoshop
  • Direct experience of using and working with Drupal
  • You'll have other interests beyond work
  • A good sense of humour
  • You'll live nearby or at least not be too upset about a commute to Bethnal Green.
