Kannada font not shhowing up and not pasting in editor
Hi all
I have a problem in posting kannada news
if i copied directly the news in kananda to my tiny mce editor i will paste
but if i save the post it will not take it
and next thing is it will not display in front page also
whst the problem is
please any one help out

I had a similar problem for russian font. You will have to go to phpmyadmin and
Check the character set and collation specifically of the node_revisions table and its individual columns.
The character set is normally latin, i dont know what is the set for kannada to display, but please find that and use that.

In such cases, Do not use WYSIWYG. Its a headache for UTF-8 characters.
also when creating a new data base, set collation to UITF-8 General-ci. It will do for most of the characters available in UTF-8 till date.
