Ubercart Help

I'm looking for someone to sit with me (I will pay) to answer questions/train, fix some problems, etc. that I am trying to work through on an unbercart site I am working on. My timeframe would be within the next week (15th through 19th). My site has been created and I'm trying to get some items changed and hit a wall. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, anyone thought of starting ubercart user group meetings?

I'm not sure what type of help you need, but I've been working with ubercart on a project as well. If I can't help, I'd be interested in a ubercart user group.

Let me know what area you are having issues with I will let you know if I am of any help. I have been working with Ubercart on a couple large sites and have worked with most of what Ubercart offers. Next week I will have some extra time available as well.

Also, I would like to see a Ubercart user group in the area as well.

I think an ubercart user group would be a good idea. I've been developing modules for it for a few months, and will be helping with core coding for version 3.

My current schedule is fairly hectic, but I could probably sit down with you sometime next week to help you if need be.

What sort of issues are you running into? I've found that the ubercart forum at ubercart.org is pretty helpful for most things, as well as the irc.

follow-up info for my request for help

I did not respond yesterday because somehow I managed to give my site the white page of death -- now that I've fixed that: what I am looking for (note: this is my first ubercart project)
1) someone to sit down with me and go through the site and help me inventory the yet to do items or what could have been done better (if needed) -- it may be as we go though I will have a question that I cannot remember now, and we could possible answer, solve or explain at that time.
2) I'm struggling with how my catalogs are set up and what the best way there is to do subcatalogs under a main catalog -- overall appearance and how they work
3) I have many items that have "required" attributes/options -- My catalog is viewed as a grid and I have the "title, image, selling price and add to cart" displayed in each box/grid cell -- my client wanted to change the wording of the "add to cart" to order now -- that is fine for those that do not require options to be chosen, but I cannot figure where or how to change the button text for those with required options - it changes the "add to cart" automatically to "choose an option."
4)There are also questionnaires on this site and I'm trying to figure out how to link them to the cart -- one is a select free item (from many items) but requires a minimum order amount.

I said that this is my first ubercart site (actually, first in ecommerce) -- and I've read through the forums and tried to follow the IRC - but a lot of times, I don't even know how to ask the question.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Paid Node for D6 UC2

Rick Wagner - Sat, 2009-07-25 00:31

Looking for a Drupal 6/Ubercart 2 Module that will let a user publish a node after checkout.
Searched through available modules and Ubercart Forums without any luck for D6 UC2.
Anything like this working?

Thanks,
Rick W.

Ubercart purchase node

Yes, I did read that thread. Looks like the last post (06-29-09) was someone looking for help in moving the module to D6. We need something that can work for Ubercart 2/Drupal 6.

Thanks
