Hola jobseeker. 5ivepoints.com is a mobile application for campaigns to do voter contact. It's got gamification, and accesses a whole lot of voter info in a cool way. We are looking for an in-house Drupal/web guy or gal who has experience working with Drupal 7, and it's a huge plus if you are also comfortable working with javascript, python, objective-c or Java . We also have iOS and Android native versions of the app that you can get your hands into, and if you like big data, we run a MongoDB instance with over 100 million voter records in it.
So, we need a web generalist with strong Drupal skills. Our offices are in the flatiron district, and we would prefer that you work here, but we are willing to do telecommutes with highly qualified candidates. IT experience is also a plus - you should be able to handle a git repo and help out on the servers if necessary. Optimization of Drupal is also in the cards.
You should feel comfortable working with custom modules, and commenting your code ;). Employment would start out as contract work hourly as we see if the fit works, then transition to full-time if both sides are interested. Pay is competitive and based on previous experience.
