I have a website http://www.wcfree.com that has been created using Drupal 5. The site was created to basically test the market over the last two years. Now that I know there is demand for this type of social network/dating site I would like to take this site to the next level. Currently the site is on the first page on google, yahoo, and msn's search engines. In the last 5 months without spending a penny on marketing or advertising there has been over 18,878 visitors. (Based on adsense stats).

To get the site to the next level I am seeking volunteers to help with upgrading from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6, add custom functionality (need to have all the same functionality as http://www.positivesingles.com) plus additional functionality mainly a chat room. Along with development the site also needs a complete redesign, needs to be made more user friendly, so that non-technical people have no problems using the site.

This will not always be a volunteer position, also this will not be a full time job. I am hoping to find people who are interested in staying for the long run and take a chuck of all the revenue generated from the site. Therefore I am not seeking 100's of people only a few strong programmers, designers and artists to help and form the base backbone of the company. Please don't respond if you're new to Drupal or web development, the goal is to get the site re-developed A.S.A.P.

Just for some statistics so you can see the potential, there is over 2 billion people who have already been infected with an STD. Positive Singles has already over 70,000 members but are charging approx $25 a month, not only that but they're are using a website that is just a template used for a verity of other genres of dating sites. I have talked to members and they dislike PS, manly because of usability. PS is going to the be the main competition.

The site is currently a free dating site but will become a paid (low cost) dating/social site once all the new functionality and marketing is in place. At that time anyone on the core team will split any of the income - cost of hosting etc..

PS: I have been getting a few emails from people giving me there hourly/monthly rate. Please note this is a VOLUNTEER position with the lead of profit sharing. I have developed, designed and marketed the current site myself. Now I need the help of others to take the site to the next level.
