Experienced Developer with Expertise in Drupal
Malenke | Barnhart, one of the region’s leading interactive agencies, is looking for an experienced developer with expertise in Drupal. We're looking for someone with demonstrated experience customizing Drupal themes and modules as well as building user-friendly interfaces for web sites and web applications in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You need to be obsessed with building a standards-compliant web and diligent in testing your interfaces against all major browsers. The ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders is critical.
Required:
- 3+ years Drupal development experience with advanced theming and building custom modules
- Contributes to the Drupal community
- Proficiency using the CCK, Views, and Panels Modules within the Drupal CMS platform
- Fluency in PHP
- Fluency in .Net
- 3+ years front-end development experience
- Expert-level HTML knowledge
- In-depth experience with CSS
- Fluency in JavaScript
- Expertise with JQuery
- Proficiency with MySQL
- Desire and ability to learn and be effective with new technologies
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience managing and mentoring other developers and contractors
- Loves working in a collaborative environment both at the agency and with our clients
- Great communication skills with teammates as well as clients
- Someone looking for a fun, energetic, creative environment
Desired:
- Experience working with APIs (Google, YouTube, Flickr, Facebook)
- Experience with other web languages, front- and back-end
- Experience working with other Content Management Systems (Joomla, Kentico and Magento a plus)
- Knowledge of tag-based interface-building languages
- Mobile technologies a big plus
- Strong system documentation skills
- Agency experience
