ABCTE is seeking an IT professional who will share responsibilities for application development and maintenance. You will be involved in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of various web-based applications, with particular emphasis on PHP and MySQL within the Drupal content management system.

Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:

•Operating as the lead for new web applications including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
•Operating in a similar capacity to maintain and improve existing web site and applications
•Participating in the development and implementation of systems policies, procedures and standards
•Ongoing role in the planning and management of IT infrastructure upgrades and information management as the organization grows
•Act as tier one support for internal users and tier two support for ABCTE customers of existing applications

Qualifications:

•Bachelors’ Degree in an IT related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
•Minimum of two years experience in web design and development
•Interested in latest technologies, languages, platforms -- a tech hobbyist in addition to a tech professional
•Not afraid to dive into the code and comfortable with conditionals and iterative logic
•Strong background in open-source environments, software, and tools (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL, etc)
•Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
•Knowledge of the Drupal content management system a plus
•Should be comfortable with Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems
