A Pamplona-style pub run on London's Hampstead Heath
The Running of the Bulls UK is a running event crossed with a pub crawl in one of the most beautiful and historic areas of London. Built in Drupal 6 with Adaptivethemes, Panels and Views, mapping tools were used to provide an easy interface for potential runners to inspect the route, alongside a jCarousel view of the itinerary:

Realtime reporting on public services in Uganda
DevTrac is a Ugandan initiative led by a consortium of government and donor agencies: including the GEO-IM Working group, OCHA, Uganda Bureau of Statistics and UNICEF - to visualize and monitor the status of national services (schools, health centers, water points, etc) and development projects in Uganda.

Pushing the Real Time Web in Austria
AustroFeedr creates a universal & open source prototype for aggregation, processing and data publishing in real-time based on the PubSubHubbub-protocol. By implementing the „AustroFeedr Hochwasser“ (flooding) real world use case in cooperation with the Austrian government, it showcases the technology as a monitoring system of river water levels for flood protection in Austria.
