We are looking for a drupal developer to develop a drupal 6 module allowing administrators to limit the number of comments that can be posted in a given time period by users that belong to specified roles.
The minimal feature we are looking for is the ability to associate roles with a permission to write no more than N comments per day. We are going to associate various roles to different permissions with different number N (some roles will be able to post 1 comment only, others 3 comments, etc..).
Users opening the comment form should receive a warning indicating that there are no comments left, or, ideally, how many comments are left in the time period.
The developer should keep in mind that we might need to expand the module in the future to allow for additional options, such as the ability to limit the number of comments per post, the ability to limit the number of post per various time periods (week/month/etc...).
The author should comply to drupal coding standards; we encourage the module developer to submit the module to drupal’s module repository and maintain the module
Development should start immediately. Please submit bids and expected completion time to
