Job Description The candidate is expected to use their skills in HTML, CSS and Photoshop to code websites while learning other aspects of the business (search engine optimization, usability, accessibility, etc.). He/she will be given Photoshop .psd files with layers to crop images/backgrounds from and develop websites in CSS table-less layouts. Other portions of this position include quality assurance (cross browser compatibility issues, validating code, etc.) and client support which entails answering questions regarding our content management system via phone and email.

Required Experience • CSS and XHTML table-less coding • Dreamweaver • Photoshop • Unobtrusive Javascript • Coding for Cross Browser Compatibility • Content Management

Experience Beneficial but not required Experience • ASP, PHP, Flash, MySQL, MS Access, IIS • Search Engine Optimization techniques (on-page, off page, and site-wide elements) • General Website Usability principles • Ecommerce Platforms (Miva) • A keen interest in Web 2.0 websites, communities, blogging, music and video sites a plus

Requirements • 4 year college degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction • Must be able to work on multiple projects in an environment where priorities shift regularly • Must have the ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and drive issues to resolution • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
