conStruct module now released (development version)
Hi everybody,
Drunken Monkey's discussion "RDF for Solr: Possible implementation strategies" leaded to a really interesting discussion about his SoC project. Considering that some of the users involved in that discussion were interested in two projects that I have been working on for few months, I thought that members of this group would be interested in having some more information about both projects.
So, I am happy to announce the release of the conStruct Drupal module, the structWSF web services framework and the developer community website of both projects.
I would suggest you to read this blog post to have all the relevant links related to these projects.
So, the next goals for me is to create a community around these two projects (anyone interested? :) ), to continue its development and support.
Finally note that these projects are complements to the current drupal RDF modules. conStruct is looking at the other end of the spectrum. In fact, I already tested a "bridging" module that uses the current RDF modules to map content types to ontologies classes and properties that then get ingested by conStruct/structWSF. Once this bridge is in place, all Drupal data (via the existing RDF modules) get accessible to the conStruct tools. But I can give more information to the ones interested in this possibility :)
Note that this project has been possible thanks to the joint development by the Bibliographic Knowledge Network (BKN) project and Structured Dynamics.
