Intervise is seeking a Drupal Developer to support a large, high profile federal content management systems integration project we have in Washington, DC. This person will:
install and configure Drupal and MySQL in a Unix environment
develop/configure Drupal for high-performance
possess experience with one or more caching solutions
develop and manage automated content migration, possibly from a non-Drupal source
write programs to interact with Drupal for reporting, querying, content manipulation, retrieving and loading syndicated content, and other purposes
develop custom themes
integrate commenting, rating, and other social networking features into a Drupal sites
diagnose and correct problems in the production environment
extend Drupal by developing custom modules or installation of third-party modules.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
5+ years of development experience
Deep understanding of Drupal’s internal design
Deep understanding of architectural considerations using Drupal in an enterprise environment, including:
o Integration with Content Delivery Network (e.g. Akamai)
o Web server and database failover
o Security
