We are currently seeking candidates for a Drupal Developer to be based in our Rockaway, NJ headquarters location.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing, coding, testing, and implementing Drupal website themes and modules
- Working with the Drupal community on patches, issues and support
- Have an active role in improving our Drupal sites
- Working within a cross functional Agile environment
- Create cutting-edge, mobile-friendly web sites
- Transforming ideas and high-level business requirements into a fully working solution
- Incorporating best practices and coding standards into all of your work
- Researching new technologies, standards, and ideas and sharing those with the team
What you need for this position:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Drupal configuration and site building
- 2+ years solid experience with Drupal theming, HTML5, Javascript, jQuery and CSS
- 2+ years solid experience with PHP programming, especially with Drupal
- Experience with MySQL and writing SQL queries
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience working with SVN, GIT, and Drush
Nice to have:
- Agile experience a plus
- Experience dealing with multiple tier deployment (Development, Staging, Production)
- Acquia Network (Managed Cloud or Dev Cloud) experience
- Publishing experience
