Rowan University’s College of Graduate & Continuing Education (CGCE) is seeking to hire a consultant with expertise in Drupal and web infrastructure to evaluate its existing web systems (rowanonline.com web site). Task includes auditing our existing Drupal systems for security, performance, and scalability; review of custom in-house Drupal Modules for performance & security. Additionally, CGCE is preparing for hosting of multiple sites and an increase in traffic. Prepare a report outlining system issues, recommended solutions, and recommendations for anticipated growth in system usage/traffic. Follow on work may include implementation of recommendations. Experience with Drupal 7 hosted on Media Temple DV 4.0 systems is a plus. Experience working with Higher Ed or similar organizations is preferred.
CGCE is interested in starting and concluding this work prior to the Fall 2012 semester. Telecommuting is allowed. May require initial/wrap-up on site meetings on campus in Glassboro, NJ.
