I'm looking for an individual or group to complete the following start-to-finish Drupal implementation for my company. If you are interested, send me your info and if everything looks good, I'll send you the design document and setup a meeting.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project will be to design and implement a small company website that includes a catalog of big real estate assets with due-diligence reports (in PDF) downloadable for each asset. The site must have permissions so that only certain users can access the due-diligence. The catalog of assets must be refreshed daily automatically from existing data in our internal systems. Our data fields are in Salesforce.com and our PDF/JPG files in Netdocuments.com. Both systems have APIs or we can export the data to flat files first.
I want this first version to be as un-ambitious as possible and still be worth doing. It needs to be done quickly and inexpensively. We have several updates we can make in the future as the company continues to grow. We are currently a profitable and growing private company. (thewestgategroup.com)
The implementation needs to be clean so it can be scalable and adaptable. For example, the database table structures need to be understandable to humans and not the Drupal internal structure.
CHALLENGES
* Choose the best modules for the job
* Get the correct data out of the existing Salesforce system and into the right place in Drupal (updated daily)
* Get the media files PDF/JPG from where they are in Netdocuments into the right place in Drupal (updated daily)
* Make sure the permissions/groups are setup properly
* Design the underlying database tables for growth
* Work fast and keep things simple
* Implement the current static website in Drupal quickly (not as important)
DETAILS
* The design document is complete and I can make changes on the fly personally for my company to keep the project moving along.
* I estimated it will take 10 to 25 calendar days to complete.
* There are less than 100 assets for the catalog currently.
* There are 5 user groups: anonymous, authenticated, client, buyer, admin.
* If the Drupal-Salesforce module doesn't take too long to implement, let's implement it for this version. If not, let's use CSV files.
* My offices are in Lake Stevens, WA--about 30 minutes drive north of Seattle, WA, but you can work from anywhere.
* I have a budget for this project only, but I will have an opening in the next few weeks for a full-time W2 employee.
REQUIREMENTS
I'm looking for someone with experience building dynamic scalable websites and some experience choosing and implementing modules in Drupal. Bonus if you have used API's like Salesforce.com's. We can outsource the visual design work if you want.
