We are looking for an exceptional Front-End Web Developer who possesses solid front-end Web development capabilities. The right candidate will be able to convert original visual UI/UX design concepts into front-end HTML code.

The ideal Front End Web Developer will possess knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, and be conversant on browser compatibility, Drupal implementation and have the ability to handle multiple front-end development frameworks.

Experience with mobile application or site UI/UX front-end development with HTML5 is important (iPhone/Android/BlackBerry/Windows). You will work closely with the development team to realize the optimal Web technology solution. Responsive web development a major plus!

Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in front-end web development in high traffic, consumer facing applications
* Expert knowledge of Drupal CMS systems is a must
* Expert knowledge of HTML5/CSS with previous experience in UI/UX development for mobile applications (iPhone/Android/BlackBerry/Windows)
* Expert knowledge of Javascript & JQuery, Drupal experience (CMS Framework, Themes, Modules, Core, etc.)
* Ability to develop the presentation tier for high traffic, consumer facing mobile applications or sites, while thinking about speed, user experience, product strategy, and how can we improve what we are building
* Proven experience developing professional B2C web sites (full project life cycle) or mobile applications
* Experience with web development based on open source platforms
* Knowledge of the latest design and development trends from tablet, mobile, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript evolution, responsive design, accessibility, site speed, etc.
* Experience and understanding of cross browser compatibility issues
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment

Location: Palo Alto, CA (no telecommute; must interview/work on-site) - 1/2 mile from the CalTrain station

Type: Contract (3 months)

Rate: Dependent upon experience; W2 salary/hourly or c2c (no 1099)
