REV- (http://www.rev-it.org/), a New York-based non-profit organization that furthers socially-engaged art, design, and pedagogy, seeks a VoIP Drupal Developer to work on a contract basis starting ASAP. The goal of this developer is to continue development on 'New Day New Standard,' an interactive public art “nanny hotline” that informs domestic workers and their employers about the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights that passed in Fall 2010. Other related projects include developing similarly structured know-your-rights projects that seek to inform low-wage worker and immigrant groups about their rights as well as youth audio projects. More information about this project can be found at http://www.rev-it.org/projects/newday.htm
This position is to start immediately and will continue on project by project basis throughout Winter 2012. The selected developer will be working for REV- but with the support of developers and media-makers at MIT's Center for Civic Media; the ideal candidate can interface between both groups. The selected candidate should be available to start immediately in order to meet a really, really exciting opportunity that can't be disclosed here but whose deadline is August 20, 2012.
For more information please send an email to REV's Executive Director, Marisa Jahn, outlining relevant Drupal and VoIP Drupal experience and skills in the body of an email with a CV/resume attached. Please send this email to email@example.com, include a phone number where you can be reached, your availability, your hourly rate, and include the words “VoIP Drupal Developer' in the subject line of the email.
