TEKsystems is looking for a UI Designer to join a growing company in Austin. You will be responsible for designing how products are integrated into client sites.
The UI designer will be styling and coding user-generated interfaces from flexible HTML templates that match the guidelines of our clients. Presenting and speaking intelligently about interface design to top agencies and in house design teams. Conducting design reviews of other designers’ work. Keeping up-to-date and participating in discussions of what’s going on in the Design Field.
Requirements
• A current portfolio exhibiting good visual design
• Organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects at once
• Ability to produce flawless work in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to create innovative designs and interactions
• Advanced knowledge of CSS3; must be able to hand code
• Intermediate HTML knowledge and cross browser support
• Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite
Responsibilities
• Work with a cross-functional team to create product implementations for new and existing clients
• Interact directly with clients through design calls and presentations
• Create innovative designs that have the potential to establish new best practices
• Communicating design rationale to clients and across different functions of the business
• Produce implementation mock-ups for the Sales team
• Give and receive peer level design reviews
• Envisioning and executing practical and aesthetically pleasing user experiences to boost conversion on top ecommerce sites
