Jackson River is looking for an experienced, confident, and technically proficient consultant with excellent project management skills to lead a wide variety of online technology consulting and implementation projects. You will work with a very talented, skilled, and passionate team on technology projects ranging from CMS implementations to organization wide technology initiatives. We work extensively with the Drupal platform and Salesforce.com CRM. You'll also get to work with some of the most influential and respected progressive nonprofit organizations and foundations, and serve as an valued consultant to these groups.

Jackson River is a rapidly growing, profitable, virtual company. The Project Manager is an integral part of the Jackson River team, involved in multiple ongoing projects and initiatives and will also have the chance to assist with building internal project management and business development processes.

Location
We are a virtual company and all employees work from home, wherever you are, with travel to client sites as required. Most clients are in Washington, DC, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay area, so some travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day to day interactions with clients on Website Implementations, integrations, and other technology consulting projects
Work extensively in Drupal and Salesforce, you don't have to be a programmer but you WILL need to be comfortable and confident using online tools.
Assist clients in making technical decisions based on business goals and objectives
Develop internal and client facing project timelines, milestones, and technical requirements for projects
Provide clients the highest level of customer service at every step in the process

Key Skills/Requirements

Superior client service skills
Technically curious and unafraid to get your hands dirty with the systems and software
Excellent organization skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, Visio
Ability to manage multiple client engagements at once, while delivering  unparalleled customer service along the way
Basic understanding of online marketing, fundraising, and social networking strategies
Basic understanding of the Web, its tools, and how the tools are used within nonprofit organizations: CMS, eCRM, Blogs, fundraising and advocacy software
Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Drupal
Detail oriented with excellent follow through
Ability to work independently, but also knows when to ask for help
and, most important, an excellent sense of humor is required
