Job Summary:
Technorati Media is seeking an experienced Drupal Developer with Front-End and Middle tier development. Candidate must be well versed in Web technologies related to Drupal and third party Drupal Modules. This role could be Regular full-time or contract.
Responsibilities:
•Prepare written technical specifications that include time estimates and required technology for assigned development projects with input from the project manager and/or director.
•Design and Implement new products including the Publisher Portal.
•Produce readable, maintainable code that conforms to Drupal coding standards.
•Communicate appropriately and effectively with co-workers and customers.
•Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement fixes in a rapid manner.
•Help in the integration of Drupal based Publisher Portal with heterogeneous systems PHP and Java based.
•Implement Front-End functionality using HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax and related technologies.
•Implement middle tier functionality to query Data warehouse and generate reports.
•Deploy, Maintain and Monitor the Drupal developed applications.
Requirements:
•Drupal 6/7 design, development and deployment experience.
•Experience writing custom modules, themes and templates in Drupal 6/7.
•Drupal security related to users, roles and permissions.
•Strong PHP and MySQL experience (LAMP).
•Experience in developing web applications using HTML, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax, JSON, XML in a cross browser environment.
•Experience providing technical specifications.
•Experience trouble-shooting issues end to end to satisfactory closure, initiates conversation to solve issues and gain information.
