PHP/Drupal Programmer | Apex Systems Inc

Contract Duration: 6 - 12 Month Contract
Project Description:
This team will be responsible for building and designing an open source intranet, based off of a LAMP stack, surrounding all of the company's internal communication. Candidate will be responsible for designing the intranet to include all relevant company information into the site. The intranet caters to all 85,000 company employees worldwide and therefore brings a lot of visibility to this team.
Position Requirements:
- Primary Skill Requirement: Website and CMS LAMP Development
- Strong PHP development on a LAMP stack
- Strong Web applications development using AJAX, XHTML, CSS
- Strong User Interface Design and Information Architecture Background
- Extensive familiarity with PHP based content management systems - specifically Drupal
- Self motivated
- Ability work individually or in a team
- Communicate with the project team throughout all stages of design and development
- Manage time effectively and work on multiple project timelines simultaneously in a demanding deadline driven environment
- Portfolio of work required
- 5+ years of experience in PHP development
- Possess problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to create sophisticated design solutions to complex problems
