We seek someone to take ownership of projects and finish them efficiently at a high level of quality. Someone who delights in solving problems, overcoming hurdles, strategizing and who will thrive in a collaborative environment. You'll work on a variety of projects and must be comfortable multi-tasking.
You will be a PHP/Drupal developer with experience in building complex websites. You will be able to demonstrate a solid command of web technology including JavaScript, CSS, video and audio streaming,, site optimization, and so on. You'll both design and work with a designer and other developers to build portions of the site. You'll spend the majority of your time brainstorming, building, testing, and adjusting. Your own ideas and creative solutions will play a significant role in the work that you do.
Familiarity with design tools is a big plus, along with a strong portfolio that shows your talents, but the most important skills set you must have is the ability to take a design from mock-up to live.
You'll assist in the optimization of the site with a strong focus on performance and speed. Strong JavaScript/JQuery experience is highly desirable. Experience in the content production industry is highly desirable. You'll constantly innovate to improve the readers experience and increase their engagement on the site. For the right person, this job will be extremely satisfying and a great deal of fun.

The Job Responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining very large-scale Drupal sites
• Experience with Drupal and the Drupal web templating systems, CSS and JavaScript
• Being well versed in multiple technologies and understanding the best technical approach to projects
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in computer science
• Demonstrable experience in general web development
• Experience with Drupal and PHP
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of JavaScript and jQuery
