Freelance Troubleshooter - Feed API & OG | Small Ball USA

Hi,

I'm trying to use Feed API to create OG nodes. I'm able to create the nodes, but they aren't showing up as OG nodes.

I've been going back and forth on this for 8 hours, so I can't even remember half of the settings I've tried to make this work. Rather than posting all the info here, I'd be willing to pay someone with more experience using FeedAPI and OG to go in and make the necessary adjustments. Then I will figure out what step(s) I was missing and I'll post it so it will hopefully save someone from the headaches I just gave myself.

UPDATE - Thanks to Bhavin Joshi for helping me figure this out.

1.) Create content type "Feed"... Under FEEDAPI, check the box for "Is a feed content type"

2.) Create content type for "Feed Items"... DO NOT check the box for "Is a feed content type." Instead, scroll down to FEED API NODE - CREATE NODES FROM FEED ITEMS and check the box to "Enable" that option. Scroll back up to ORGANIC GROUPS and check the option for "Standard Group Post"

3.) Be sure to set your permissions so you can add/edit these new content types (Users --> Permissions)

4.) What should happen is this: You go to Create Content --> Feed ... Cut and paste the RSS feed address and save your Feed content type. Then click the Refresh button. The feed should now be populated with "Feed Item" nodes that also appear in the appropriate Organic Group.
