  • Beginner Session - Getting Drupal Installed and Configured for new users. Users bring their laptops and download the installation files ahead of time. Note: Check back Friday evening for files to download, I will try to have them up by then. If not, I'll have them available on USB at camp. - winston
Update (10/16): Apologies didn't have time to update the files (working on it now). I'll bring usb with the needed for everyone. Plan to get to venue well before 10 am so I can give you needed files and help you get set up.

  • Beginner's theming session- Taking an old fashioned html theme and converting it to a Drupal theme using Zen as well as tools such as Firebug. - Travis Nanek

  • Drupal 7 Update - A session on the highlights of Drupal 7 - edit page to volunteer to present

  • DrupalCon Paris Recap - A session on the highlights of what was discussed and presented at drupal 7 (could also be split into sub-sessions or a panel) - edit page to volunteer to present

  • Hot New Drupal Projects- Lots of new projects are coming out or maturing. This will be a survey of what's hot in Drupal and its implications for developers. Examples: Open Atrium, Drupal Open Learning Initiative - Bram Moreinis

  • Using Drupal to showcase your Work: A studio session for Artists and Photographers - I know that New Paltz is packed with artists ; so i have creating this session for them :) Sure you can have your work on Deviant Art or 1,000 other places; but is that really professional? No, you need your own place to play and I'll show you how to do it :) - johnvsc

  • Intro to Module Development - Need something that's not available as a Drupal module? This session will cover the basics of module development. Please bring examples of things you need to do, and we can cover them, as well as tips on tools and websites to get you developing for Drupal. A basic understanding of php would be useful, but if I will adjust the level of this session to the people who are there. tom_o_t

  • Building a photo gallery - No one module does it right, but with a creative combination of some common modules you can create a professional looking photo gallery with some nice special effects. agerson
