We are still in evaluation mode for identifying suitable software to use on an ongoing basis.

Proposed agenda (please feel free to comment):

  1. Establish Note Taker
  2. General Comments, Questions, Technical Support
  3. Shared Document of CM_Drupal Contacts, Job Descriptions, etc (Requested by MNN)
  4. ED Conversation for Fall 2012
  5. Review Meeting Software

NOTES:

In Attendance: Drew Frazier (RETN), Jason Daniels (ECAT), Aric Ruble (Access Vision)

This meetup was light in attendance and was largely devoted to exploring the readytalk software. Notes on agenda items are as follows:

  • Group weighed pros and cons of a shared document (e.g. google doc) vs. a shared website as a way of maintaining a database of participating AMOs (Access Management Orgs). It was agreed that although more work is entailed, even an "out-of-the-box" drupal site would be far more useful than a text document.
  • Aric Ruble volunteered to create and possibly host a shared drupal website for this collaborative work. More discussions needed concerning goals and objectives of site.
  • Jason Daniels is lead on coordinating ED conversation slated for later this Fall. He is thinking mid to late October. Some questions surrounding this conversation: What is the purpose and desired outcome of this conversation? How can we structure the conversation in advance so EDs are prepared and interested in having the conversation? Input from more members of this group would be useful in the coming weeks.
  • Readytalk worked well for this meeting and it was agreed that this is a good ongoing solution. Any participant can screenshare, meeting can be recorded, and many other features make this useful for peer-to-peer web support and conversation.
