Websend is a smart, fast moving and growing business, requiring a person with a passion and an aptitude for software development in a multi media environment. This role will provide you with the opportunity to broaden your understanding and knowledge of the media industry.
Based in South Melbourne at Websend our Software Developers are responsible for the continual improvement of the Websend software as well as bespoke project work as it arises.

Websend are looking for an experienced Drupal developer for an initial 3 month contract to work on a new Project

Essential skills

•   Strong skills in Drupal 5 or 6 customisation, module development and themes  (mid to high level exposure, pref min 2yrs professional working experience)   
•   Strong skills in PHP and MySql (mid to high level exposure, min 2yrs professional working experience)
•   Strong skills in JavaScript, Ajax, XHTML/CSS (min 2yrs professional working experience)
•   Experience with javascript libraries such as jQuery, Prototype, Mootools, YUI
•   Experience with open source software and exposure to the open source community
•   Convert photoshop files into templates using compliant XHTML and CSS

Required additional skills (listed in preference)

• Experience with Frameworks (CakePHP, Zend, Mojavi, Symfony, etc)
• Experience with XML, SOAP, SQL and Web Services
• Experience with C++
• Plug-in development experience using Adobe’s SDK
• Experience with Visual Studio and Xcode tool sets
• Experience with source control (CVS, SVN)
• Experience with MacOS/Linux systems
• Experience working with deadlines and short turnarounds
