In the Virtual Enterprise Network book which I'm taking good bits from and altering according to needs - Ken describes six critical roles people play:

  • architect
  • broker
  • coach
  • technology support
  • executive leaders
  • group leaders

over two major areas:

development:

  • market
  • community
  • capability

support:

  • campaign
  • product
  • projects

People play different roles at different times, or as the Party people would say "hats".

I'm wondering how we could make use of these going forward so we can work more in parallel. Ideas?
