Webmaster - working knowledge of Drupal | Latincouver - The Virtual Latin Plaza

We are looking for the right individual with a proven track record, that wants to take their portfolio to the next level.

The ideal candidate will be joining a team of passionate volunteers to produce and maintain a dynamic social media site. You will bring your experience in web development, design, management and optimization and your love of latin culture.

More specifically, we require that you produce clean (standard) code in CSS, XHTML, PHP, Javascript (AJAX), Blogs, Flash and .NET and experience with databases, MySQL, Photoshop, Illustrator, with a working knowledge of Drupal and an active interest in Drupal development and the community.

Languages:
English - written and spoken
Spanish - written and spoken
Portuguese - preferred but not mandatory

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and be able to work on multiple tasks as well as being available by email or telephone throughout the day for the occasional urgent queries. He/she will be have excellent problem solving skills and able to work in short notice deadlines. This is an opportunity for a person keen on building their reputation, with the possibility of competitive compensation commencing within a 6 month period.

This position will allow the candidate to work from home.
