Web Developer | Chase Technology Consultants

Enthusiastic PHP developer to join an Online Publishing Group in the Boston, MA area. You'll work in a fun, collaborative environment to help our team of web developers build next generation media products.

Required:

• 2 to 3 years of LAMP (Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL) development experience
• Drupal development or experience with some open-source content management system
• Solid understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS
• Comfort with Unix command-line tools
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Subversion and Git
• Knowledge of SEO coding best practices
• Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to business users and other teams (design, qa)
• Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently
• Eager to embrace current and emerging web technologies

Experience that would be a plus:

• Experience building social networking or community-oriented sites
• Experience in the online publishing industry
• Ruby on Rails, Java, or other object oriented programming
