Our client is in need of a dynamic, motivated and talented web developer who is either starting their career and wants to create a portfolio, or someone with a bit of experience looking to work in a fast paced, creatively exciting company with great opportunity.

You should have a natural creative energy, enthusiasm and feel for usability, functionality and user interface combined with strong coding skills. Our client needs someone to take their designs, slice and dice them so they can easily integrate into WordPress or another CMSs. You should also be comfortable with PHP, HTML, and CSS and is very familiar and comfortable with WordPress. You should understand SEO from a code perspective and know about things like sitemaps, Google Webmaster Tools and 301's. You will be a big part of a small business with some exciting and challenging projects, working with great people. You will have a great deal of responsibility and directly impact the overall success of the company. You will work closely with various members of the company. You will participate in web site decisions, with a particular focus on usability, interface and coding.

Skills to Posses:

• Strong HTML & CSS coding skills.
• Java Script coding.
• Strong WordPress understanding, usability and coding skills.
• Be able to “SLICE” up Photoshop designs using CSS and HTML for implementation.
• No problem working with template websites, WordPress and CMS systems.
• Understanding of FTP, Web Hosting.
• Develop, document, and maintain detailed deliverables for webpage design, coding, interaction design, and UI design, wire frames, flows, site maps, story boards, etc.
• Technically savvy.
• Experience with XML and Sitemaps.
• Understanding how to Maintain/Setup Hosting
• Experience being a “webmaster”.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Bonus Skills to Posses:

• Flash, Photoshop, Fireworks - "Web Design"
• An understanding of Databases and MySQL
• Web Development (Internet Programming, PHP etc)
• CMS (Joomla, Drupal)
• Experience and/or understanding of web marketing, search engine optimization, social media and web analytics (Google, Twitter, Yahoo..).

You should be hard-working, an excellent communicator, highly creative with top of the range skills and a fast learner with a passion for coding and the ability to think outside the box.
