Maintaining an actionable task list for ux team
We discussed opening an 'uxteam' project on d.o/project/uxteam and use its issue queue to maintain a list of actionable tasks that aren't necessarily directly mappable to a core component or contrib project yet.
There's a Google spreadsheet where we tried to maintain a list of UX design tasks that are actionable, but not fit for a issue:

We want to try this out and went ahead and created http://drupal.org/project/uxtasks
Field UI in core
Kevin O‘Leary pointed us to https://drupal.org/node/1835410, which has a link to his designs for a new and improved Field UI. Bojhan gave a bit of background on how indeed the current Field UI is a big big obstacle for site builders. And it's a crucial feature to wrap your head around to really unlock the Drupal content management power. Efforts to put a Form builder-like UI have started as far back as four years ago. It's a daunting task.
But it is a critical piece of the Drupal site builder UX. We'll have to check if a total revamp of the UI would be possible after feature freeze. For this, we need core committer feedback. http://drupal.org/node/1515688 seems to be the place to raise this question.
